Give me YEARNING songs in YOUR native language please. As the legendary AO3 author said "The English have taken enough from this world, I will not let them have my tongue as well." WELL I WILL NOT LET THEM HAVE MY YEARN. Most english yearning songs are overrated as well idc. (P.S. .....The English can participate as well here I guess. Just give me yearning songs)
Well, it's quite old, but 'Ne me quitte pas' (by Jacques Brel) is probably the most yearning French song possible. Or 'Et si tu n'existais pas' (by Joe Dassin) but honestly I don't listen to it
There are also (way more modern and less dramatic) 'Amour plastique' and 'Roi' (by Videoclub), 'Ma meilleure ennemie' (by Stromae), 'Melodrama' (by Théodo...... 1 reply
