This has been on my mind for a while
Would you still like something if it has problematic themes just for the sake of historical accuracy? Like minor x adult and stuff like that? I do believe accuracy is necessary but I got really pissed when I was talking about this to a friend and he mentioned literary works shouldn't be confined to modern standards, but it seems like an excuse for some authors to be creepy, no? We were talking about violet evergarden and the whole teenager x a guy in his twenties is really weird but he said that it's historically accurate but I argued that it still isn't romantic when a teenager WILL get trauma from it but he just said it was normal back then..... What are your thoughts on this?
It's a higly problematic situation. Most men take advantage of it band most teenage girls are interested in older men. It's young girl's fantasy about older men and men being creepy as always. And,the most problematic thing is many teenager and young girls find age gap troupe romantic and the author takes advantage of it. They get brainwashed from ...... reply
