Mamdani is being told off.

This actuslly pisses me off so much. The ONLY mayor who has been continuously listening to his people and trying to better the city, and by extention himself, is being "demanded" to not visit the 9/11 memorial. This is just straight up racism and islamphobia, and I dont want to stand for it.

An online petition urging mamdani not to attend the ceremony has already reached 100,000 signatures. Why? Because he is Muslim, I'm in no way a believer in God. But that is beyond ridiculous, what does his faith (that he continuously proven not to be affected by) have to do with his sympathy towards these poor victims? They even launched a protest infront of New yorks hall while holding up disheartening boards while calling him indecent things.

It is valid for those people to be mad and upset over an incident like this, but it is in no world an excuse to discriminate a group of innocent people for the ALLEGED acts of some. Educate yourselves a little, will you, white people?
