Your occasionally chronically online animal guy is back !!!! :3
Anyway as the title suggests, I want to return peace to the forums a little so I will bestow you with my knowledge of cat breeds and genetics ^^
The first breed is one you might actually know, its the abyssinian cat ! They're a somewhat older breed, with their first depection being in an 1775 Swedish painting by Pehr Hilleström Senior, which shows cats resembling early ruddy Abyssinians with characteristic ticked coats and pale chins
The abyssinian cat possess dog like behavior, despite their regal look, theyre quite known for being energetic and curious, all while still being considered 'quiet cats' as they aren't as vocal, they have various of coats ! My personal favorite is their fawn coat :) [4th image]

2. Selkirk rex: they're a chunky cat with a thick coat, carrying the long rex fur gene, they originated in the United States in 1987
Frankly, selkirk is only one breed from a way bigger category called the rex cats with many other curly haired cats like cornish rex, Devon rex, ural rex and so many other breeds. This breed specifically was bred to have a chunkier build once they were mixed with Persian cats in the 80s

3. Russian topaz: The Topaz breed was developed by Iryna Merzlenkoin Nikital cattery in Ukraine starting in 2016, they're VERY recent and one of the newest breeds discovered
Russian Topaz is a playful, affectionate, and calmer cat that does not have any recognised any healthy issues as for current studies. Their body structure makes them have wider eyes. Eyes must be blue either both eyes or odd eyes, with a preference for black roan coats, although other coats are accepted too.

Another series ...
ME TOO
please
Why are they called Russian Topaz when they're discovered in Ukraine?
The cat was developed by mixing in two specific cats
1. roxi, which originated from Kazakhstan, from the altai breed line (aka blue eyed cats)
2. Seymour, a cat with russian origins, and he was described as the "russian ojos azules" because he was the cat with the unusual blue eye genes and minimal white fur gene
So the first topaz cat was known to have more russian roots than Kazakhstanian, which developed the name as russian topaz
But they can also be called Topaz cats, because the word russian is quite misleading and erases an important foundation for the breeds birth place
