I think in my country this is still talked about a fair bit - it wasn't one specific attack but a multitude of different ones by the same group (IRA) around the UK and Ireland.
It brought a lot of tension to the public because most of the attacks seemed rather random (bombs were planted in a lot of places - pubs, cars or trucks, educational centres...... 1 reply
