Aren't open relationships like cheating with extra steps?
Not talking about polygamy. But people who ask for open relationships, aren't they basically just asking for permission to cheat? Or like do open relationships even work even where both of them come up with it together? Someone please explain, because I cannot comprehend the thought process of people in those relationships.
If both partners consented to an open relationship, I don't think it's cheating. Like some couples have a threesome kink and bring home a third person for a one-night stand, that's an example of an open relationship, I guess. I don't really get it and wouldn't want that for myself, but it's their choice, not mine reply
