misandry
I know this is gonna be controversial as fuck and I came from missing pepper case’s cmt section. Do you guys really think misandry is an issue? I get that hate is bad and all but point me to one man who is hurt by misandry like how women were hurt. Don’t give me “Oh men also have feelings and not all men are like that”. I get that. I just genuinely need valid reasons on how one misandry in one single manhwa is being an issue when multiple manhwas AND mangas with misogynistic themes go on unnoticed. Misandry is not a thing for me just like how heterophobia isn’t a thing. Gosh this is a horrible thing to say and not that I’m wishing for it but I will believe that misandry is a thing the day the percentage of men assaulted and killed by women goes up.
Does misandry exist? Technically yes. Is it an issue? Not in the ways misogyny is, as misogyny is a systemic issue where as misandry isn't. I'm a trans man who has experienced a LOT of trauma from men both pre and post transition. I once strongly wished all men would drop dead, but I had to unpack some of that hatred of men (misandry) in therapy so...... reply
