Yaoi has lost its spark
Is it just me or do you guys think too that there's lack of creative storytelling in yaoi nowadays. It might also be just me because I've been reading since 2018, so I can no longer find anything new, everything is predictable and a copy paste of the most popular slop. So tell me what do you guys think. Leave recommendations too if there are unique yaois you know of.
As someone who has written over one hundred oneshots so far, I am going to sadly hold everyone's hand here and say you guys don't actually want creativity. You guys want predictability with just enough variation that it “feels” creative.
Also, there is also no genre that can withstand someone reading hundreds of works and not become “oversat...... 1 reply
