Yaoi has lost its spark
Is it just me or do you guys think too that there's lack of creative storytelling in yaoi nowadays. It might also be just me because I've been reading since 2018, so I can no longer find anything new, everything is predictable and a copy paste of the most popular slop. So tell me what do you guys think. Leave recommendations too if there are unique yaois you know of.
It's because the popularity yaoi gained was solely because of the sex scenes. The fetishism yaoi got as it gains popular is insane that companies such as Lezhin, Bomtoon, and the likes of them make it as a way to gain money and we're actually losing the point of why creative storytelling matters more than the sex appeal of a story's character.
