I think some people can read something shitty, and still able to criticize other things that are shitty. It just depends on whether it’s on the same level of bad and if they can accept deserved criticism. But yeah, the title “step bro my cum bucket” is something I think I would probably criticize too. My already read is full of stuff I have rated 1 star / negatively reviewed . lol I hope ppl aren't going to my page and assuming I like that shit just cus it shows up. . But I agree with you. It's a matter of preference. You can rate something highly because it's entertaining or relatable, even if it's not objectively well written. People are still allowed to critique other stories while having questionable titles in their own read list, let's be real, we've all rated a mediocre yaoi 5/5 lol. I've never understood this particular line of attack. in the absence of a rating or commentary, something being on an "already read" list doesn't mean anything. it just means that they read it. that's not my issue with questionable stuff in stories, especially when it's being pirated.
