I don't usually go out of my way to recommend films but i have a strong feeling a lot of users here will benefit from watching this film. It truly healed some part of me just by the way of the representation, I love to watch Iranian films because the characters and locations and stories feel so bloody real, it's almost like if these characters popped out of the screen, I would love to just sit and talk with them. And that's rare for me. What a film. I felt heard and seen and represented, something deeply embedded within my chest got dislodged and i wept like a baby at its release. This is what good storytelling does. I can't thank the creator enough, he is dead now unfortunately but I know he knows. He knew, that's why he made this film. Strong storytelling. Beautifully shot. Superlatively performed. Deceptively simple but carrying a great wealth of empathy and granular understanding which is so rare.
