Cornell Rape Case
For those who don’t know, in September 2026 a former student of Cornell university filed a lawsuit as Jane Doe saying she was drugged with alcohol, marijuana and ketamine and gang raped at the Chi Phi fraternity house on October 2024 when she was 20. 7 male students raped her for 7 hours and other 50+ men in a groupchat knew about this and did/said nothing. At the time she reported it to the Cornell university police a few weeks after it happened but no criminal charges were filed at the time. Now the case has been reopened and it gained massive attention thanks to the hashtag #iamjanedoe. Guess what? The university decided that an “educational” essay was the adequate punishment for these seven guys involved. A fucking essay. What are yall’s thoughts on this?
The saddest thing is that she is one of many. Greek frats attract some of the worst human beings in the world. Most of the first warnings I got in uni were about frats. Never go to a frat party alone. Never get stuck alone in a room with a frat boy. Never drink the punch (it's roofied). Never accept an already opened beer. Never report a sexual ass...... reply
