Should BL/GL authors show support to pride month!
I recently saw this discussion brought up and I realized not many BL/GL authors show support towards LGBTQ rights or make a post during pride month despite profiting off of the community. I’ve seen some people state that the genre simply fictional, and it doesn’t reflect a person’s real morals. While other people say that more authors should show their stance for the LGBTQ community. What are your thoughts and opinions?
I saw someone saying , "just because u read/write bl/gl , does not mean u support the queer community " . I think thats very true cause 80% yaoi/yuri out there do not represnt queer community AT ALL . Theyre just romance stories . Which i mean , theres nothing wrong with writing/enjoying fanciful romance but at the end of the day , ppl WILL expect ...... 1 reply
