Should BL/GL authors show support to pride month!
I recently saw this discussion brought up and I realized not many BL/GL authors show support towards LGBTQ rights or make a post during pride month despite profiting off of the community. I’ve seen some people state that the genre simply fictional, and it doesn’t reflect a person’s real morals. While other people say that more authors should show their stance for the LGBTQ community. What are your thoughts and opinions?
A good chunk of authors and even people who read both genres only view gay people as a source of entertainment. I have had multiple arguments even on here with people saying that they don’t support LGBTQ rights, but “respect it” while calling themselves a fujoshi and engaging in queer media.
