Should BL/GL authors show support to pride month!
I recently saw this discussion brought up and I realized not many BL/GL authors show support towards LGBTQ rights or make a post during pride month despite profiting off of the community. I’ve seen some people state that the genre simply fictional, and it doesn’t reflect a person’s real morals. While other people say that more authors should show their stance for the LGBTQ community. What are your thoughts and opinions?
I'm trans and bisexual and I personally don't attend any pride events, but of course I support it because it is a big celebration of queer history. I don't expect yaoi/Yuri authors to go to pride events- I expect some form of support though.
