It's okay to like popular things, some things get popular BEACUSE they're good, its like if you don't have niche taste in music or fashion or just about anything your gonna be called basic The amount of people I've met that get sad about the fact that, something they're into is getting popular beacuse they want it to stay niche, but that's not the point of doing things at all
I always lmao when people say "I used to be a fan of [insert media] but then [people I dislike] joined the fandom and ruined it" like guys, you are aware of the fact you can be a fan of something WITHOUT engaging with it's fandom, right?? 1 reply
