I try not to read stories with rape scenes. Skipping just the rape in the story and still finishing the story sometimes is not enough, you have to nuke the whole thing and not read it entirety (although sometimes I do hate read, it is unhealthy I know. I try not to).

I think it's because most sex scenes drawn in stories are referenced with porn positions. The way some of these characters position themselves to show the camera aka viewers the best shot of the penetration is indeed weird. I interviewed at a retail store that was close to bankruptcy, so I think that helped me get the job because they just needed more people to help out around the store until they close. Honestly, from a student who was always concerned about their grades, to another. I'm adult now and looking back, getting bad grade doesn't really matter now. Look forward, reach out to the teacher and talk about concerns and prepare for the next test but better. No use crying over spilled milk.

Story has a plot outside of romance between the main characters. Characters need to have motivations/goals beyond wanting to get together with each other. Pacing needs to flow naturally throughout the story. NO UNNECESSARY RAPE/SA. I think it's just easier to draw hot people having sex than to create a meaningful storyline. Many consumers are more drawn to the smut, authors just create to follow the trends.
