Easily one of my favorite movies but the nature of my critique is for the audience. First of all, as much as it pains me to, women, I don’t believe there’s anything desirable about Nikki’s behavior after Bear makes his wish BECAUSE ITS NOT FUCKING NIKKI YOU DOULT, DID YOU MISS THE PART WHERE SHE PISSED HERSELF BECAUSE SHE HAD NO BODILY AUTONOMY??? Second of all, men, NIKKI IS NOT YOUR FUCKING CRAZY LATINA GIRLFRIEND NOR SHOULD YOU WANT THAT (if you were a self respecting person). The point is that, you shouldn’t wish to be either Bear or Nikki because bear gets trapped in a hell of his own making and Nikki loses all autonomy and is left to deal with the hell left for her by Bear.

Here’s a scenario to test your survival instincts based on something that happened to me recently!

You go drinking with your boyfriend to meet his friends, everything goes well, you meet them, they’re chill, albeit a little introverted and quiet, but it’s whatever. Went to a restaurant to celebrate adding an exam with husband. And we ran into one of his old college buddies— well, before he dropped out. Dude was immediately a red flag (literally wearing a maga hat) and thought that WE were maga too (my hair is blonde atm). Like he literally slid into our booth and started talking about how everything was about to get fixed. Thankfully, my husband told him to fuck off when he started asking him if he bought me or something. But yeah, dying my hair back.

Was meeting up with an old friend who can down South for business, and he told me that when we were younger all he wanted to do was fuck me. And I was like “like, you wanted me as your girlfriend?” And he was like “no, I just wanted to fuck you, especially when you came to Church after smoking with us all night.”

Keep in mind this is during my high school days. I was always younger than him.
