Platonic relationships are great and I think can be very deep and beautiful to have. Do you guy's have any platonic relationships you guys have seen and liked in BL?

How come whenever people talk about this author or their stories they mention "Form of Sympathy" and "Park il-woo and I", but they don't mention "For Your Love" made by the same author? Is "For Your Love" just not good enough for people to talk about, mention or read?! "For Your Love" is one of my fav BL out there! how come people just don't mention it when recommending or talking about the author and their works, why?!?! BL fandom why?!?

I hate men and their sexualizing of female breats. Why did they have to make our society like this? I wish breasts could just exist and rarely be seen as sexual. Yuck.

Are comment dislikes a big deal to you guys? Do you guys get upset just seeing at least one dislike on your comments?
I remember there was a time people would complain here about the other questions section, how it seemed like someone was just disliking every comment because people would see that most of the comments had at least one dislike, and my reaction to that was like what's the big deal? It's just one dislike as the comments would just get one dislike.
Also are dislikes really a big of a deal or should they mean anything?
Sometimes people use someone's dislike count to delegitimize that person, weaponizing their dislike count against them, poking fun at them, and I couldn't help but wonder why impose that dislikes mean shit? Especially to the point where someone is no longer valid, and making fun of them for it. For me I see this as cliquey, bully behavior. Why do people seem so proud in implementing that?
What do you guys think?

Ngl, with how BL Tops are typically crafted, I'm more interested in how these tops would look together, how a romantic love story could happen between them, rather than reading their original story with their og romantic partner. Like those obsessive, possessive, dom, tops. I want to see how it's like for them to date someone else from the same mold. I think that would be PEAK BL.
So far, I've been entertaining the idea of having a character like Zhenya and a character like Ilay dating eachother. I think with their two personalities, a masterful romance dynamic could be born. (I know nothing about these two characters and their stories)
What about you guys?

Platonic as in friends and deep as in they would go to the ends of the world for each other, burn the world down for each other etc. Do you guys agree or see it differently?
I feel like it could be something worth normalizing.

Just the title and I'm curious on how it's shaped you or what you took away from that experience.
For me, a few years ago I started paying attention to the Hailey vs Selena discourse and actually came to like Hailey a lot. At the time, it felt like people were constantly twisting things to fit a certain narrative, and I remember thinking “why can’t people just let these narratives go?”
Nowadays though, it feels like she has a better public reception. I see more people recognizing or celebrating her as a trendsetter or icon, even though there are still people who don’t like her.
But I think from it, it's made me appreciative for when people can shift from being unfairly critical and hateful of something to viewing it more fairly over time.
Anyways I'm curious if you guys ever had something you liked or supported that everyone hated and criticized but now seem to love. And what you took away from that.

For me a story becomes peak if there's a magic/power system that I can powerscale the characters on. Especially if I can do it in my BL manga/manhwa/manhua. Idk powerscaling to me is very fun heheheh
I think part of my enjoyment of it is because of how some characters/character archetypes are elevated or can be looked at differently when you see them be stronger than other characters/character archetypes. Like a wimpy character or an annoying comic relief character being taken in differently as they are actually strong/stronger/strongest in the story kind of thing.
What about you guys? do you guys like power scaling?

A line that's forever stuck with me is when Mo Guanshan said to He Tian, "Don't look at me with eyes of charity" and also him saying to He Tian "standing with you makes me feel like failure!".
He's so precious, I love little mo!

I find if there is a love angle with two love interests and the MC in the middle, the MC being a bottom, I prefer the MC to end up with the more green flag love interest, the one that acted more kind and nice.
But if the MC is the top, I prefer them to end up with the more 'red flag' love interest, the one that clashes with the MC the most, more toxic, unkind, more ill feelings between the MC and that character. The more 'unpleasant' of the two love interest, where the other one is more kinder, sweeter, nicer. I want the MC to end up with the more 'unpleasant' one, the one they clash more with or harbor more ill feelings towards.
Is this concerning or unfair?

I watched a video where a bird was making a nest and I was like, "that reminds me of omegas!!ヾ(☆▽☆)" But it was fascinating watching a bird make a nest, I'd imagine it'd be the same if omegas were real. ╥﹏╥

I find I prefer seme protagonist and whenever I'm looking for a danmei novel to read, the primary criteria I need met before I start searching is a seme protagonist tag.
I'm pretty sure seme protagonist isn't as common as uke protagonist, but what do you guys think if it was? If the seme/top was made as the main character more often? Where they are the character the audience sticks with and follows, roots for because they know their story and/or started with them first, or made to be relatable or likeable as they are the main characters. Or a lot of interesting concepts get imagined with them being the main protagonists.
What do you guys think if semes were portrayed like that or put into that role more often? Would it be different and a good kind of different?
I think it would be good so I get more seme protagonist stories heheh.

You know, something I've thought about with the whole internet discourse around "what is good female character writing?" I've realized that if people really want to know they should look at all my childhood girl shows. Shows like Winx Club, Lolirock, W.I.T.C.H, Bratz, My Little Pony, Totally Spies, Monster High, Ever After High, Strawberry Shortcake, Star Darlings, Friends etc. The female characters in them were diverse, they were main characters, their own people, had adventures, significant roles, had arcs. If people were ever curious on how it could be done and whether it's been done before, they could just study and analyze my childhood girl shows. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
