So me and my ex broke up like two years ago and we started to talking again after new year just basic talk. Annnnnd i usually play around very much after him i didnt got into a new relationships and stuff just random dudes for 1-2 weeks and dropping them. Sooo after we made up nothing went wrong fr just been a while for me being in a relationship i work a lot he does work too we dont see eachother everyday or even once a week and it doesn’t bother me hanging out with him (or any men) bores me, also im biggest hater of sweet talk thing i cringe every time by texts like “im gon kiss you thousand times” and stuff like that. I really appreciate that he tries but i do want to break up right now. Any tips?

Sooo, I had this awkward situation the other day.
My bestie got a boyfriend (he’s not local, he’s from another country), and she introduced him to us. We were mostly chatting together, and my friend started talking about her cheating ex. I have a weird relationship with men—I usually say I don’t fw them. Also, jokes about men (and literally anything) aren’t new for us; we joke like that all the time.
While we were talking, I said, “That’s why I hate men,” and my bestie’s boyfriend got offended. It wasn’t targeted at him—it was about my friend’s cheating ex and, in general, about creeps. Then my bestie asked me, “Can you not say that anymore?”
Of course, I explained that it wasn’t targeted and that it’s just my opinion. I mean, when you’re throwing slurs around every day as a joke, you shouldn’t get offended by something like that. He said he just wanted to make a good impression, which is understandable, but it still wasn’t directed at him.
Now I feel awkward. I apologized (which I normally wouldn’t do—I don’t think it’s that deep), but still… I don’t know. When you spend most of your time around racist memes and stuff like that, it’s hard to believe something like this would be that offensive to you.

So I’ve been trying to get a minimum-wage job for MONTHS. Every day I’d wake up and see rejection emails. I have so many of them that even my read list isn’t that big.
Lately, I just said, “I don’t care about jobs anymore. It is what it is.” I’ve been working since I was 17, and I’m 22 now, so this was the first time in my life that I struggled to find a job.
But recently I just stopped giving a fuck about all of it, and SUDDENLY 10 jobs responded to me — even some of the same companies that rejected me before. So I stopped caring, and now everyone wants to hire me?
Is this some kind of reverse psychology?

What y’all think about being mixed?
One of my closest girl friends proudly says that she’s racist, like: “our country was so nice before other races came here.” The thing is, I’m mixed — my father is West Asian, and we naturally have thinner eyes and tanned skin.
She reposted some corny TikTok video that said something like “don’t mix your snow with dirt,” and I reached out to her saying likeee that’s not very nice.
She was like, “Oh no, I don’t mean YOU and your ethnicity, it’s about Arabs and Indians. Why are you offended?”
Growing up, I always felt awkward for not fitting in. My last name is long, my name isn’t local, but I’m very proud of my father and I don’t think it’s something I should be ashamed of.
So what do you guys think? Should I be offended?
