I'm very intentional about what I consume for this very reason. The key is: Observe, don't absorb. If you feel your mental state being really effected in a negative way by the material, its time for a break. Switch to a different media entirely. Tiktok, YouTube, a streaming service or just listening to music. Even just moving to another room helps,......   3 reply

I passed a kidney stone and then got a UTI afterwards. I kept having to go back to the doctor to get antibiotics because nothing was working, and then they finally had to give me a shot on the side of my ass. After that it was cleared up, but oh my god that whole process sucked. This was in the HEIGHT of covid, too.   reply
