i am reading this very popular fanfic of satosugu (“achilles, come down” by “hotcocoaaa” on AO3) and i normally do not read many fanfics. reading fanfics made me realise that i genuinely love and miss them alot more than i thought i did. and i really think i miss them alot. i just love them so much T_T. you guys must be thinking i'm so mentally unwell bc i keep bringing stsg up everyday on here on mangago T_T.

i personally do not understand why there's so much rape in yaoi. and it's not a recent thing either. alot of older yaoi(finder series, gravitation, dakaichi, etc) have rape in it. and some of the older resident fujoshis still talk about those in nostalgic way, even though they know it did have rape and SA and other problematic elements in it. all the popular yaoi have mostly been filled with rape, no matter the time. why do you think this normalisation of SA comes from? if yaoi is mostly catered to women, doesn't it make more sense that women would feel negatively about rape in stories since women are victims of such crimes irl more than men?
so what could be the possible reasons? is this some kind of sick rape revenge mentality? or is it a sick fetish of wanting to rape men if they were a man?
it's something that feels so misogynist even though i cant put down a finger where.
i want to know this from a person who's been a "resident fujoshi/fudanshi" and was in the yaoi genre early on (late 00s or early 10s maybe?) I have been in the BL community since 2018-19 and rape is something i have never understood. i personally don't read yuri this much, but overall yuri doesn't have this much normalisation of rape (as much as i have seen atleast). that doesn't mean yuri genre doesn't have problematic stories, it just isn't as mainstream to have a rape scene in yuri.
so why do you think yaoi has so much rape and SA? what could be the reason behind it?

it's seriously so difficult sometimes to be on the asexual spectrum. because firstly, majority don't even understand you T_T. they think asexual=no libido. while it can be true for some of the aces, it's not true for ALL of them. it's like saying all gay men like feminine stuff. might be true, but not really. also, they just do not understand that just because aces don't feel sexual attraction, they don't have libido.
secondly, it's so DIFFICULT managing your libido as an asexual. it's frustrating. it's like you're hungry and no food looks eatable. genuinely. and you're literally crying bc you're so hungry but the thought of eating borderline make you want to puke. going through my ovulation week rn (probably) AND ITS HELL. please stop!
and i cant even express this frustration to anyone, bc i genuinely do not even feel like masturbating. like seriously, it doesn't even get me off T_T. it just builds and builds and no peak is reached. great! now i'm even more frustrated.

having said that, i dont know about allosexual experience. what do they feel, how it is for them, how hell ovulation week is for them or menstruation week, i don't know. im not saying allosexuals have it easy, not my intention. but AGH, sometimes i wish i felt sexual attraction so i could just be "normal" T_T. (i know aces are normal as well, but i mean it in a present society's amatonormative heteronormative sense)

like seriously, i cant even read yaoi or yuri or even straight stories with romance or smut rn bc it's frustrating me T_T.

I haven't watched the anime yet but just the clips on youtube. Out of context it looks so gay and honestly, there's no heterosexual explanation for anything these men do. Naruto and Sasuke are so gay for each other that it's right in your face. Then there are Obito and Kakashi, and Madara and Hashirama.
It's like they're the blueprint for yaoi.

I guess it's true that misogyny makes every man gay XD. (While also hating them for being gay). I think this misogyny→gay pipeline is pretty evident and needs to be studied. Naruto is gay, because misogyny. My hero academia is gay because, misogyny. Jujutsu Kaisen is gay because, well I guess they're just HOMOSEXUALS that's why. And also a bit of misogyny.
Its telling how patriarchy makes men “homosocial” to say the least and then hates on LGBTQ+ community. As if misogyny isn't the biggest reason men can't have healthy relationships with women. I definitely feel that alot of women prefer yaoi BECAUSE they crave equality and a power balance in relationships which heterosexual relationships can never bring because gender has a power imbalance attached to it. You're on a lower staircase if you're a woman. (Not saying gay relationships don't have power imbalances, but they're not inherent because of gender).
What do y'all think about Naruto, what are your fav ships?(Yes, ofcourse you can say SNS), and would y'all put Naruto in doomed BL category (like, brokeback mountain where they had a family but were still in love with each other)?

i feel like im lowkey a misandrist bc i don't think misandry is bad or anything, it's not systematic as misogyny. plus, its mostly as a retaliation to misogyny. also, i feel i am very radical feminist because why do I get angry every time i see a woman willingly has a boyfriend?!?! i don't think any man is completely devoid of misogyny and they'll always be much harder to convince that their views are misogynist. i also think men (in this cis hetero patriarchal society) can't ever truly love women. also, heterosexual relationships can't work in this society. they just can't. i am so conflicted about my feelings for men, because i am attracted to them but it also feels like dating a man is such a humiliation ritual. i also feel i'm much comfortable with women, and form bonds with women more, and men are just trophies in my eyes. (that's why, i don't understand when women date ugly, chopped men who are unemployed and live off of them) i'm genuinely a #womaninmalefields bc my thoughts are exactly like an average man's is, just swap the sexes.
