Mythology in general are interesting to me, i love to read stories about some Gods creating chaos, destruction, starting drama, murdering each other, it's all fun. Of course there's some wholesome stories too and i appreciate that. You can see this trope everywhere in media, regardless of genre, both in fiction and reality. That's why you see this trope even in shounen, action genres, and of course, it can be really frustrating if it's excuted really bad. Are people just painfully straight and/or oblivious to not get any queer subtext on characters in any media or something? It's crazy to ignore all of the implications just for the sake of normality.
