Ok so lately i've joined some group in line with so many people chatting about yaoi and life and such.. it is fun but i think its kinda hard for me to blend in because it seems that most of the people in the group are girls.. or at least thats what i thought..

Heya! I came up with this question because I myself wonder about this all the time.
Sometimes i wish i was a guy, but i know that if i was a guy id wish to be a girl.

So, If you'd be the opposite gender, would you still like the same colors, shows, music etc? Would you still have the same sexuality? Would you still interact with the same people? Would your lifestyle be different?


☆My answer☆
For me, if i was a guy id probably still like the same things. So the color pink, cats, cute things, colorful animes etc etc. But the other side of me would still like super hero stuff, swimming etc.
The enviroment i grew up with is pretty open for "different" people.
Id probably still dye my hair, probably grow it long too since i like guys with long hair. I'd also still pierce my ears.
Besides that id try to be more fit and healthy (as a girl i put up lots of weight thanks to the pill).
Id probably be very, very gay (no not just for the yaoi). Because I have dated a girl before and you might say im childish af. But that girl COMPLETELY destroyed liking girls for me. I'm 10000% not attracted to girls anymore and ill probably never be. Which i don't mind, since i have a gr8 boyfriend and i find guys very beautiful (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Finally I might interact with the same people? Idk, some of them like to stir up drama. As long as the drama isn't with me it can be quiet enjoyable ╮(￣▽￣)╭

I have a friend that - although the topic of sexualities hasn't really been discussed, just based on the way she explains herself, I assume - is heterosexual or at least heteromantic, and she only writes heterosexual characters. Literally, not once have I ever seen her make any sort of LGBT+ character, and we roleplay so even when my characters have had crushes, they're still straight. So it got me wondering -
Heterosexual/romantic authors, artists, etc., do you write queer characters commonly? I don't mean like token characters, the one or two that are gay to meet a quota, but like fully fleshed out queer casts? Being wlw myself, almost all of my characters are queer to some extent so I don't have a very good frame of reference, haha. But I'm really curious!

I've lately noticed that I have a crush on my best friend, and I know that my chances are really low, but im afraid that I'll regret not doing any thing after we leave highschool, should i just go for it and confess?

with my friends it was easy i just let them know and they took some time to accept it and stop seeing me and being in love with every girl ive ever laid my eyes on but,,,,,,, i stopped being friends with a lot of them and with my current group i cant remember a time when i wasnt out.

as for my family, i just told my sister i was dating a girl she thought was my friend and she asked for all the details as sisters do. shes probably always known i was gay. with my mum it was more like, my girlfriend told her parents and they freaked out and she was gonna stay with me but her parents demanded that either i tell my mum or they do. so i told her the reason my "friend" got kicked out was because i was dating her. she said theres worse things i could be and hugged me and took my sister, me and my girlfriend on a roadtrip so id stop being so upset.

i wish i wasnt forced to come out to my mum because i never thought id have to come out to her id just bring a girl home one day and thatd be that. but its whatever, i still cry a little when i think about how much pain i went through that day. i wish id let them tell her because shed totally have sided with me.

As I've understood it, genderfluidity has everything to do with how to present oneself in a social setting. So if you wear what's generally seen as masculine and speak generally masculine you identify as male, but the other day you might wear femme and identify as female

I see this as **problematic**(lol crucify me) to say the least, because I advocate fashion and hobbies etc to not be gendered. I like wearing baggy clothes and flannels, but that doesn't mean I identify as a dude. Genderfluids on the other hand seem to have the opinion that to wear what's generally seen as masculine, you need to have a masculine gender identity. To me this is destructive and counter-productive, and it takes us back to the times where women needed to wear dresses etc, only in a very tumblr sort of fashion.

What's your opinion on fashion and gender? Are you genderfluid? Am I a complete idiot and jackass? I would love to hear people's opinions on this! (=・ω・=)
