man, woman, gender doesn't really matter bc anyone can become corrupt or criminal in the right environment (it's not that only humans are like that but that's irrelevant here) but i'd rather be in a matriarchal society... at least then there'd be stricter enforcement of laws against pedophiles and rapists (of all genders, i hope) reply
It would still suck. Get me outta here I hate divine femininity and bioessentialism bs. Women, just like men, are people that are capable of being stupid and awful, a matriarchy wouldn't be some lovely perfect paradise where everything is beautiful all the time. I sound very mad... and I am... but it's not rlly directed at op... I just see a lot of...... reply
Pretty much the same as what we have now, just with women leading. Will the men be oppressed? Likely, we are just as human as the men are, what the men can do to us is what women can do to men as well if given the chance. Will the men fight back? Yes, like women now, the men will also demand for gender equality. Wars? Do you really think women are ...... reply
No, they could've made other comparison cus one is a date and the other is a married life with Responsibilities. It's a way more important effort to do than someone giving flowers flowers may be a lil expensive but it's different from a mother who's trynna accomadate to their whole family taste. reply
Medical services will become free, I am telling you. Abortion would be legal everywhere. Women would have control over their own bodies. Legislation would certainly change. Doctors wouldnt dismiss women's health issues or misdiagnose them. Btw, did you know? Historically, medical science and research focused primarily on male bodies, using them as ...... 2 reply
We'd probably have cheaper childcare services and more accessible birth control. Society as a whole would probably be more community-oriented. On the government level though, idk. I feel like regardless of gender, the people who are drawn to positions of power are often those who will abuse it for their own benefit. reply
Depends if all it does is mimic patriarchy and also comes after being conditioned by millenniums of patriarchy and internalized sexism. I believe it may not because we have a few examples in history that confirm this but anyway that doesn't mean anything if we still live in capitalist societies that value patriarchal ways like power and hierarchy o...... reply
I feel it would be more people focused, yeah women are humans capable of doing wrong, but in the grand scheme of things, I feel there would be more economic growth, less crime rates and a better environment. And no, I don't believe women would want to turn men into the oppressed, I don't think men can be really(a lot of factors go into play here).G...... reply
Women are still human, so I honestly don’t think it would be that much different from the patriarchy. The only difference would be that men would be the ones who were oppressed. 2 reply
I feel really at peace, I moved out of the country and from my parents house a few days ago, it feels so much more important because that place was a really toxic and abusive environment for me, and I just, yk I feel like I'm finally fully myself now that I'm out,, :))
I hope everyone with a similar situation can get out as soon as possible reply
