Ahhh this takes me back. I was pretty young when I watched it- and the other two in the series, so then it didn't really occur to me how gross it was. Now I realize that it's pretty bad, even if others shrug it off as "shotacon", it's still pedophilic and pretty gross. I wouldn't even bother watching if I was you. Boku no Pico doesn't phase me because I've seen worse. Much, MUCH worse. I've read the hentai manga Mai-chan's Daily Life, which is quite possibly the absolute worst thing that I've seen in the entirety of my life. I think many people overreact to it. I know I watched it within the first year of getting into anime when I was 12 and I thought it was....weird (though by now ive seen far far worse). I never liked the story or the art but at the same time I wasn't all "everyone should stay away". It was never entertaining to watch and the art was terrible. reply
I don't find Boku no Pico to be particularly shocking, or anything really. I just sort of feel indifferent about it. After having read yaoi for a while, I'm well aware of the shotacon genre and over-exaggeration of various scenes. That being said, I don't think Boku no Pico is necessarily a good yaoi, or a bad one. It's just not to my taste.

actually it is not a manga but a fanfic and I was like WTF!!! is that it is so detailed that I could imagine what they are doing!! to be honest it cringe me I'm too young for that(that timeeeeeeeeee!!!!!) until I get used and enjoyed it then change to reading manga for more detailed scenes xD because you know 2 hot males or more than that jugjugan...... reply
nothing really as a fujoshi it is normal I mean there is something more intense than that . .It is normal because I think there are more yaoi mangas like that traps and everything shouta con blah blahhh~. . I was ten when I saw my first yaoi. I was just randomly streaming stuff on youtube at around 11 and then I saw it, my first yaoi, Kirepapa. After that I spent the whole night watching as much as yaoi as I could, I didn't go to bed until 9am in the morning! I have and will never regret my decision :) 2 reply
