Only my best friend and an old classmate know that I read BL stories.
I told my friend that I enjoyed reading BL, but I didn't tell her that a lot of them are super graphic though.
I was taking a Japanese class in college and was doing homework with a group when we got distracted by one of the member's sketchbooks. One of the characters looked su...... 2 reply
It was my high school friends who introduced me to Yaoi. With that being said almost twenty years later I've only let a select few friends in on my secret... Only because I thought they might enjoy it too.

You might like to try kindle on your phone or tablet, that way you can buy it cheap and even free. reply
Yeah, nearly all my friends know as I talk to them about it and some of my family members know as well and none of them care. They even ask about the plot of the book reply
It was Dragon Ball doujin so I was like: "...Vegeta...Goku...wtf are you doing?! Σ(っ°Д °;)っWHY? (╯°Д °)╯╧╧ " - I was more shocked because of that strange pairing than scenes :) reply
OMG LOL I WOULD DIE HAHAH! I feel like your mom knows and just decided not to talk about it or that she understands and is waiting for you to bring it up? *Shrugs
Not sure how but I feel like moms, even though they snoop around and will somehow, someway get in your business, will always have that radar that senses uncomfortable-ness. Your mom mus...... 3 reply
My ex-best friend kinda got the gist of it. Besides that no one knows so I read yaoi in secret. I don't know why I don't tell people, I guess I just don't want to be judged, and am afraid to be misunderstood. I don't have enough close friends to get my kinks yet lol but definitely, someday I want to open up about it.
Reading yaoi is fun! I don't ...... 1 reply
Ohmydays, thats terrible! The internet was probably your mom's doing, ahaha. (un?)fortunately I have no anecdotes to share, no ones every caught me, im sly ;D (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧ 1 reply
eh, i dont really mind telling people. most of the people around me read manga or watch anime, so if they ask what i read i say romance and sometimes i say yaoi too (cuz i read both). havent met a person yet that looks at me weird. my mom kinda knows too since i said to her that i read m/m romance books (which i do). reply
I'm not, but I find the 18+ rating seriously excessive. A whole lot of people lose their virginity before they turn 18, so it seems silly that they wouldn't be able to see sex scenes in comics or film.
If sex weren't so taboo, I think the rating would be more like 15+ reply
My start with manga were at the age of 12. Mainly Shoujo and Oneshots.
My love for BL started when I was 14.
And Yaoi with some Ecchi Scenes at least after 2 months.
Smut was on there since I was probably 15 ;)
I tried to read Bara and Shotacon, but couldn't go with it. Seems I like Bishies more :D 2 reply
I'm pretty broke most of the time (the problems of youth without a steady paycheck) so I can't afford to much. This lead me to asking for manga for almost every gift, and why I only own two tankobon of BL (Sekaiichi Hatsukoi and ...Junai no Seinen). But I do have my prized wall scroll of Junjou Romantica from Comic Con. reply
Almost all of my friends know I read yaoi (even my guy friends). I was at Bookoff with my friend, and was having a freakout because they had Bi no Isu, and I was so tempted to buy it, but couldn't because it was too expensive.
I do own a few at home (Japanese instead of English so I can read it without others easily knowing what it is). Also, ...... 2 reply
11. I downloaded the Crunchyroll app on my phone and thought that Sekaiichi Hatsukoi was about two brothers. I was so wrong, but I never turned back, and became a fujoshi! (▰˘◡˘▰) 1 reply
My first anime was 4Kids version of Yu-Gi-Oh!, and my first manga was Yu-Gi-Oh! (the season 0 [aka the Seto with green hair arc] equivalent). I distinctively remember thinking "wow, Yami Yugi is really mean in the comics."

I started watching anime when I was 9 or 10 and my 1 anime was Naruto I first saw it when my brothers were watching Naruto vs pain and I got interested in it so I tried watching Naruto. It was freaking awesome I probably watched 20 episodes a day also it was because of Naruto that I had to learn English so I could understand what were they saying ...... reply
