The one I think of off the top of my head is Kill la Kill. The story was interesting at first, but then the annoying characters, the cliches, and the bad animation became too much for me to put up with. It just boggles my mind how popular it is.

Weak, pathetic ukes that just accept everything how it is. It's so cringeworthy. Also, overly possessive, rapist, douchey semes that don't let the uke do anything. And extreme height differences, it seems too unrealistic.

I think "brother shuffle" has a good chance based on the art style and the possibility for it to become a large franchise where different stuff can be sold on a large basis. I used to stay up late to watch Inuyasha on Adult Swim with my sister when I was a little kid. That's the first one I remember clearly, but before that I watched Sailor Moon, Cardcaptor Sakura, and Detective Conan. Also Pokemon, I guess.
