I think the 18+ thing is more like a warning than an interdiction. It helps you know what will be in the thing you're starting to watch/read/play, but in the end it depends on your mentality.

It's all about just finding other people that match well with you. That's a lot easier said than done but by using sites like this and asking questions and talking with people you've already started to put yourself out there to people with similar interests. And don't worry about your accent! The whole world has an accent depending on who is listen...... reply
