Well when I saw my first yaoi I was in about 5th grade (ik young asf right ) but I just got interested in it and ever since then I've been OBSESSED with it. When I first read one I was in about 6-7th grade (I even go on wattpad to find boyxboy stories to read). 2 reply
I used to not like anime, so I didn't discover yaoi until I was 13, when my friends introduced it to me. My curiosity lead me to Betrayal Knows My Name, and I quickly fell in love with it. I'm 19 now~ ^w^ 1 reply
I was 9 I think. I stumbled upon the anime Gravitation, and throughout the whole thing, thought that Yuki was a girl. Junjou Romantica was my first yaoi manga, and I was 10. reply
I was 8 years old when I first saw a glimpse of yaoi, but I haven't yet completely rendered what and why it was happening. In any case, I became conscious of it after a bit of research and I couldn't help but dig in a little further-- But to no avail, it was not a simple task, so I gave up immediately(since I didn't have my own computer)!! So...I'm one of the late bloomers here. I was already 22 when I discovered Junjou Romantica and Sensitive Pornograph and I was 25 when I read my first Yaoi manga, which is You're My Loveprize in Viewfinder. I don't really like watching Yaoi anime since many of the explicit scenes are omitted. lol 2 reply
This was my first! I didn't knew it was calling anime at this time, but i knew it was japanese. xD I was 7 years old (thats 21 years ago). Damn i feel so old!! haha xD
The name of it is "Attack No.1" or "Mila Superstar". :D
Oh and i wish i could remember my 1st manga. >. reply
Actually the first time I read yaoi I was 18 so it wasn't that surprising, I had already passed for the curiosity-about-male-anatomy age gap and referring to the gay part well I was experienced in the boy's love novels area so contrary to most of you it was a nice surprise to really can see in actual pictures what I could only imagine with the nov...... reply
I think I'm about the same as you. I'm OK with rape, incest, bdsm, necrophilia and things like that. For rape, I don't mind as long as it isn't one of those rape=love stories, where the person who has been raped is just like "oh he raped me because he loved me so it's ok."
Things I HATE:

I vaguely remember watching Shaman King and Digimon as Saturday morning cartoons. I loved them, but didn't know that they were anime. My first anime (that I knew was an anime) was Fruits Basket. It hooked me and I went looking for more.
I'm really not sure on my first manga. I read a few chapters of Skip Beat! online before I really got into manga...... reply
Aaaah such an interesting question. About time for me to think about this.
Hmm I would say I have a strong, open mind, so I can accept almost everything out there. And actually, always speaking about fiction of course, I do enjoy some fucked up shit I've read.
BUttttt of courseeee there are exceptions.

This brings me back memories, ahaaaa.
My very first nickname in the net was... Kelpie, I think? All 'cause a Spanish metal band's song hahahaha. Some time later I found anime/manga forums and I went with "Gaia", because that band again... I was such a silly girl, all obsessed with them ahhaha.

When I started High school I began playing more games and got addicted to Samurai Showdown Warrior's rage. I used Rinka (a character in the game) as a nickname in online forums, and for some reason, it stuck like glue to me. I even got a professor in colleg...... 1 reply

Ohh this is a fun question to answer. (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧ My name has always been hard for people to pronounce, so eventually it got to the point where it was shortened, and I was simply called "Nami". It's basically become my real name now, and I like it quite a lot. 1 reply
On the internet it always contains "Misheru". Since it's the japanese synonyme for my real name, Michelle.
I like it especially since there are only 7 letters for your name in Pokémon in the German version xD
In reality I don't really like nicknames outside of chats. But I have friends who started calling me "Michi" for some reason... I think it...... reply
Around 8 or 9 when mom bought me some anime CDs one of them is kyou kara maou and i thought their relationship is kinda weird since they're both boys, so i asked my older cousin (avoice actor otaku) if boys can have a relationship with a boy when she said yes, i got interested and watched some more but most of them are shonenai when i was 12 i acci...... 2 reply
I have so many nicknames but my favourite one I like out of like 10 is Charmander. The first half comes from my name which I use at work (because my name is always mispronounced I shorted it). But my friends and family sometimes call me Charney much to my disapproval (sounds super baby like which I'm not #-.-)). Others are Vanilla, DD (back whe...... reply
