So I have an older sister, and she has this weird attachment to me. Keep in mind, I’m 22 years old. I guess it was somewhat okay when I was a teenager, especially since she’s only two years older than me, but now it’s gotten ridiculous.
She’s extremely controlling and thinks going out, having sex, or basically doing anything independently is something shameful. She tries to control me 24/7 and spams me like crazy. She completely loses her mind if I don’t answer her. She yells, curses, and has these insane tantrums. At this point, I genuinely feel like something is wrong with her.
She also hates my friends and slut-shames them for no reason, while her own friends are honestly even worse. Like, what the fuck is wrong with her? She just completely loses it when I ignore her bullshit.
Even my mom doesn’t control me this much. I’m a grown adult with a job and a diploma, and I hate arguing with my sister because she’s impossible to reason with. I genuinely don’t know what to do anymore or how to get her to leave me alone.
If any of you have dealt with an abusive or extremely controlling family member, please give me some advice. I don’t even know how to explain how badly she loses her mind sometimes. She’ll literally spam me nonstop while I’m at work.
