If you're gonna have sex, know how to use a condom/birth pills. Stay safe. When in doubt about a partner or yourself, get a STI/STD test done, ain't no shame in that. And of course, consent should ALWAYS be asked for. I'm talking FULL CONSCIOUS NON-DRUG/ALCOHOLIC influence decision making consent. Anything lower than that is not consent. reply
Be picky. I don't care how insecure you are, no one deserves someone who's shitty to them. I don't care if this advice makes you stay a virgin until you're 30, it's worth it. (Though I personally have no problem with meaningless sex, if it lines up with your values you can still be picky while also having a little fun along the way~) I think it's b...... reply
You never know how things will end up so don't worry about it. Go for that dream people say is dumb. Date that person and get your heart broken. Make money. Go broke. It's not worth worrying about things like getting married. You'll meet someone when you do. If you never meet someone you'll be fine. Get a pet. Go on a trip. Take chances. It's all g...... reply
My advice would be simple :- you can lie to the world about who you are and hide it from the world but never ever lie to yourself , don't deny or ignore who you truly are to yourself .. Because lie to yourself only will cause you pain and suffering without even realizing and will never feel satisfied by anything this world would offer you , emptine...... reply

Fall in love?? Quite a weird question. It's said that the heart does not choose who we fall in love with but knowing that much we can easily conclude that a person falls in love with personality and then looks, so if the disabled person is not a d*ck then the answer is yes. reply
I live with cervic Dystonia, my muscles are always tense and sometimes (almost always more or less) I can’t control my movements in my neck. My head is shaking and it kinda looks like im freezing but Im not. I have never had a relationship since it started to show (at the age of 15) I have only had sexual relationships. Honestly I don’t think i...... 1 reply
I've got a very good friend who has nerve issues that closely mimic the symptoms of MS. She's engaged to a (able) man she dated for over eight years and they're getting married next year. She's a hell of a lot better off in her love life than a lot of able bodied people I know, including myself.
I think it entirely depends on the people involved,...... reply

It's a hard decision. It's not that you can't fall in love with them - in fact falling in love is the easiest part - it's just that you may have a lot of responsibilities to take on if you chose to be with someone who's disabled or you'll always have someone around who's catering to their needs. If it's not a disability which severely impairs them ...... 2 reply
I work with someone that's disabled and he did ask me out but I turned him down. Mostly because I'm asexual and happy single but on a side note, it's because I don't want to babysit him 24/7. I know it isn't his fault he will forever have the mental state of a 8 year old but if I chose to date, it'd be with someone who is mature and can take care o...... 3 reply
I came from a very religious catholic family. When I was in grade school, my dad suddenly changed his religion and it seemed like the rest of our family members (My grandma, his sibling etc.) "hated" him for that. They spent years witnessing how they argued about it. They even said that the reason why we are struggling financially was because of mY...... 7 reply
If there is one thing that i got right in life is giving myself time and space to get to know and accept who i really am, without filters, excuses or justifications, just embracing the good, the bad and the downright weird.
Knowing and loving myself with realism allowed me to be good to myself, to treat myself and others with respect, it has also ...... reply
As a Swiss, my native language is the French and German is basically mandatory and drilled in our head since childhood. I also learned Italian, English (obviously) and is currently learning Spanish. As for the less useful languages, I studied Latin and Ancient Greek. I love languages so much. 1 reply
I will be honest, I don´t know if I would take that burden on myself. It depends on the
type of disability, how and how much it affects the daily life. How much I would have to
take care.
But I don´t think I could date someone with a mental illness.
I don´t want to cause some misunderstandings, I`m very tolerant. I don´t care about
country,...... 1 reply
'Things' are your daily life experiences by which you get to know the world around you. Tell others about the things you did, may it be cool, sad, crazy or funny. You can also find things that you might want to do and a friend to do it with!
