Mistaken sexuality?
I talk about my OTPs quite a lot, so I'm not surprised that my mother thinks I'm gay.( ̄∇ ̄") She comes up to be talking about how her new show has a lesbian pair now, and said "You like that their gay, right?". I mean, nothing wrong with being gay, but I just don't feel comfortable knowing my mother really doesn't understand my sexuality!╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Anyways, how did you deal with it? This isn't limited to just straights mistakes for gays, but it's for everyone! How did you explain, please tell me.... ( T﹏T )
It's weird because when I came out to my parents...it was like....forced? For a lack of a better word.
But like when i told them that I was pansexual, I don't know if they believed me or not.

My parents believe that I'm a lesbian. They have arranged many "new friends" meetings as many Asian parents do and even attempt to send me to "doctors" to get treatments. We both worked the afternoon/e...... 1 reply
I was mistaken for ace back in high school for about 18 months by my friends. I didn't learn about this until I was hanging out with one of them and making all sorts of comments about the boys soccer team playing shirts v skins on the next field.
"Oh! So... I guess you're not ace, then?"
"What? No. Why would you even think that?"
"You never join...... reply
I always get mistaken for a lesbian. I am not totally but mostly straight and genderquer and that´s why I feel very gay sometimes. I think peole tend to notice that. Also I very much am a femenist and equalitarian (how the f*** do you spell that?) and a lot of people think femenists hate men and therefore have to be lesbians. So my sexuality is ki...... reply
I'm ace and aro ^^
All of my friends know that I'm ace and aro, that's one of the first things I tell them (once they're drunk of course). I do that because I know that it decreases the chances of a friend wanting to date me ( = losing said friend).
Unfortunately it wasn't enough with one of my friends, who first thought I was a lesbian-in-hiding....... reply
