God, at first I had such high hopes in this one. The weird thing is, this relationship is 10x more toxic than most Yaoi that involves rape because it was a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

I liked their friendship in the first 2.5 chapters. Sure, Kureshima was a little blackmail-ish but I though the author was revealing his flawed and desperate logic to show that Kureshima is coming to terms with his sexuality. He’s ashamed he’s gay, finds a guy who he feels like could understand his sexuality, ropes him into a somewhat forceful friendship and is desperate to find someone to love him, even going as far to blackmail said person. His internalized homophobia leads him to not admit he needs this relationship, and this crush, but is expressing it in unhealthy and codependent ways.

I thought he was going to get over his shame, apologize, and it’d be fluffy and cute with him confessing. I should’ve known better. When I saw the dubcon warning, I was disappointed and I guess what I’m saying is their relationship is so toxic because Kureshima latched onto him, became a friend who he could be vulnerable with, encouraged him to build his confidence only to tear it down and isolate him even more from his peers. It was watching abuse at its core, made even worse because I can understand why Oono held onto his friendship since it was his first friend who genuinely seemed like he cared about Oono’s well-being.

It’s so toxic because it was originally cute and sweet. But Kureshima knew he was lonely and knew he’d be desperate to have a true friendship, and used Oono so he felt lonely without Kureshima. It’s the kind of toxic relationship of codependency and abuse. The only good thing about this manga was the first two chapters and Sasaki-San, she was so cute I was actually rooting for them to get together.

Yet another failure. So sad.

Um absolutely not. I feel as though the authors/creators of these kind of rape plotted mangas purposely try to make the rapist seem good and like ‘oh I didn’t mean too but it’s because I love you’. I don’t wish a happy ending for those two but like most of these manga they likely will either have sex again and/or date.

Oono should've ended up with the girl, Sasaki. That's how bad Kureshima was, raping Oono until he was bleeding. He;s manipulative and toxic and forced Oono to date him by cutting off contact completely while still fooling around with a girl in Oono's line of sight. Also these morons fucked in one of the rooms and left Oono's stained underwear behind. Genuinely interesting premise that could be a lot of fun and sexy to work with, only to be ruined with obligatory scumbag seme who justifies rape. Not one star however because the idea is unique and the art is nice. Still shit seme with terrible, manipulative personality tho.

It was a interesting idea...but the author obviously ran out of steam and circled back to the dull, unimaginative plots of older Yaoi stories. Good start, dull and predictable ending. Would not recommend.
