Plot wise it's just childhood friends falling in love with each other but the author wrote it so beautifully. It's bittersweet, because of the situation they were in, but i'd like to think that they lived a very happy life together when it lasted.

So underrated! I like the 1st story a lot. It's classic and timeless. This was one of the first friends to lovers stories i read, and after rereading it's as good as i remember it was years ago.
