A beautiful okama, a kind-hearted yankee, and a whole lot of hijinks.
Unproblematic here means that they do explore some problems (or nature) of relationships and coming to terms with one's feelings. The volume feels short but the characters (even supporting ones) have depth if you look hard enough. The are fleshed out enough for readers to exercise creative imagination :) A satisfying read.
Here you can read how a rickshaw puller who thinks he's streetsmart gets completely slayed by an earnest, guileless kimono-shop owner with a bottomless appetite. Ganbatte ne!
