Reading the story of these two guys make you feel like you're an outsider who just happen to come across these guys often. You fujoshied them hard, but ultimately don't know anything about their story. And then you go your separate ways.

If you came back to this after a long time, it feels like "ohhh it's them" and remember halcyon days.

Nishida Sensei strikes again with a story about two mid-level yakuzas from opposing factions, trying to find their blue skies and perfect movie ending.

A classic series, which I think everyone under the sun has read as one of their earlier exposure to yaoi? The jury is still out on the sequel however.
