This is the story of a homosexual couple who take a kid in and willingly make the changes required to make it work. I really like this one primarily because it shows the effort it takes to bring up a kid and focuses more on that than on just the dynamic of the couple. Extra points for having a likeable female character (the child's mother). For once, the mother is not demonized for leaving the child with a foster family while pursuing her career and she gets to stay in the child's life
Story of what happens after 2 people get together and start dating. It's not often we see a mature relationship with mutual respect.
Very interesting story of a closeted gay whose past comes back to bite him when he falls in love with an openly gay man. This mangaka is really good at depicting human relationships.
Warnings for tragedy, incest and dark psychological drama. Excellent depiction of how there are many layers to our feelings for others and what we see on the surface could be very different from what lies underneath.
An interesting romance between 2 atypical characters. I love that none of the characters are completely likeable.
Pretty amazing manga if you manage to get over the fact that both the MCs are horrible people you wouldn't want to have anything to do with in real life. It does have a HE though.
Sequel to Kyuuso Ha Cheese no Yume Omiru but this one is much better. Can be read independently of the prequel.
This writer is extremely talented in taking a cliched plot and transforming it into an amazing work of art. Excellent characterization, brilliant plot and beautiful story-telling. The way the relationship between the 2 MCs develops and their love for each other is relatable and believable.
Warning: Incest
Ryou has hardly any memories of his father. At 17, he goes to meet his father at his family home and gets transported to the past. There he helplessly, hopelessly falls in love with the 15 year old version of his father before being transported back to the present. He does not want to give up on the relationship but the period between their separation and reunion that was a few seconds for him was actually a couple decades for his dad and that gap is not easy to bridge...
Very good one-shots looking into complicated relationships. But most don't have a happy ending. So be warned.
A very different concept - what happens to the characters in virtual reality when the players leave?
Haru falls in love with an NPC in a virtual reality game he designed and coded, whose beta version his brother's company has now made available to players online. This NPC is broken, in that it does not fall in love with players other than Haru and does not forget him even after they reach their happy ending and the game ends. The debugger is intent on deleting the buggy NPC... what can Har
