Absolutely love this one. All the characters are lovable, especially Yuuto. He is one of my favorite manga characters of all time - pure sunshine. Ryuusei is a cinnamon roll too - he is so gentlemanly that he drives poor Yuuto to a corner by insisting on waiting to go all the way despite Yuuto saying he doesn't mind. A frustrated Yuuto has to finally say, "come on, read between the lines", LOL. The conflict and their relationship is handled sensitively without being overly dramatic. I recommend.
Warning: Incest
Ryou has hardly any memories of his father. At 17, he goes to meet his father at his family home and gets transported to the past. There he helplessly, hopelessly falls in love with the 15 year old version of his father before being transported back to the present. He does not want to give up on the relationship but the period between their separation and reunion that was a few seconds for him was actually a couple decades for his dad and that gap is not easy to bridge...
Warnings for tragedy, incest and dark psychological drama. Excellent depiction of how there are many layers to our feelings for others and what we see on the surface could be very different from what lies underneath.
Manga with incest theme - done well.
Incest in yaoi is interesting because now there are 2 reasons why they can't be together - that's double-forbidden love...
Very simple and straight-forward story. The art and the dialogues are beautiful. Definitely recommend. Warning for incest.
Warning: Incest - cousins
Cute story of cousins who fall for each other. Pure fluff.
I want more of the second couple.
Very cute manga about step-brothers who held a candle for each other all their lives. Mikage tries his best to stop himself and step away but keeps getting drawn in more and more...
Warning: Rape, Depression
What makes this a masterpiece is that the author takes us through not just the physical abuse but also the mental abuse that Jeremy suffers, how he slowly loses his sanity and sinks into despair and depression. After seeing him suffering over and over again, being trapped and cornered and having nowhere to go, we are able to relate to his actions and behavior in the second half of the story. Very well-written.
