One of the best manga I ever read. Excellent plot with dark and light themes intertwined beautifully. The emotional attachment and dependence between the main characters and how it affects their actions is portrayed quite well. None of the characters are 2-dimensional and they all stay true to character at all times. This manhwa gets extra points for having a seke couple and for neither of the MCs having an over-dose of feminine characteristics. I'd give this a 6/5 if I could.
This manga is everything that a manga should be and more - intriguing and tense plot, brilliant characterization of a very large cast where each character is complex and has his/her own objective. So the lines are blurred and people who should have been on the same side sometimes find themselves in opposite sides. This manga belongs in a league of its own. The only negative is that it has been ongoing for over 10 years and would likely go on for another 10. It's a test of patience.
Not the end you'd expect but it's bitter-sweet and shows what real world relationships are like. The story of the friendship between a gay man and a straight man.
This one should go down as a classic. One of my all-time favorites..... Reading this is like watching a classic Hollywood movie..... every single scene is depicted beautifully from the way the MCs meet, their interactions, the dialogues, the angst when they find themselves on the wrong side of a drug deal gone bad, the way they salvage the situation, the sweet moments together, all the way till the very last as they prepare for the reunion...
This writer is in a class of her/his own. This manga is an example of how a cliched plot (sex between friends under extenuating circumstances) can become a work of art in the hands of the right artist. Excellent pacing, brilliant characterization and well-executed storyline.
Very realistic and interesting take on loneliness, shallow relationships and the trivial things that can save a person. Also, amazing how the relationships in the manga are very similar to real life relationships where it's hard to know where you stand with a person simply based on their behavior especially for those who are not very perceptive.
Amazing!!! Highly recommend. This one is a masterpiece.
The pov of a public prosecutor, Hiura who is investigating the "missing person" case of a lawyer, Kageyama who was his long-time friend. Hiura knew that Kageyama was gay and had a crush on him even though Kageyama never really made a move on him. Now Kageyama has gone missing since he was assaulted and possibly dumped into a river. Hiura dreams of Kageyama holding him and kissing him every night even as he handles the case.
I'm a sucker for well-written (or drawn) stories in the fantasy genre. This is a rare webtoon with depth in story, intriguing plot, beautiful art, an adorable main character, excellent supporting cast (both human and gods), a mystery (or a ton) to unravel, an unrequited (or is it?) love than spans eons, loyalty, friendship and loads of angst. What more can you ask for? Well, what else but season 2..... can't wait...
A non-human and his bodyguard go from town to town to grant wishes, for a price. So we get a new story every chapter and little clues about the MCs. Off the beaten track and very interesting....
Crown Prince Suryeon needs the help of the newly hatched dragon that can bring rain, to grasp power and become King. The dragon needs the servant, Suu, who takes care of him, coz he sucks the life energy from Suu as his food. But once the life energy is sucked out, Suryeon has to help restore it using his healing power or Suu could die. Suu can't escape this mess coz (1) he doesn't know much about it and (2) he is trying to make enough money to free the slave, Nathan.
