It's the strong female lead who loses the interesting aspects of her personality when the ml shows up. Fun.
There's also a bad writing habit here that makes the whole thing drag. The author throws literally ALL the info at you. They needed a proper editor.
Guy feeds a kid in a park and finds himself hired as a housekeeper for a hot pilot with a cute kid.
It's cute, the kid is adorable, the seme is a good guy. There's no stress here.
Where this loses out for me is that it's unequal domesticity and not much else. The MC basically becomes a 50's housewife and it's really unappealing for me personally.
This is the darling of the Isekai genre, and the reason is likely because the bar for shoujo is extremely low and this is standard shoujo trash.
It's generic. The protagonist is one of the most choppy with a bunch of plot conveniences that make no sense. She has a bunch of abilities that go ignored as soon as they are no longer useful. She can use a gun, but doesn't carry.
Saintess summoning thingy.
A pretty mediocre story. Nothing new or particularly interesting. She started off dorky-looking and they gave her a glow-up where she no longer needed to use glasses and had perfect skin, which y'know, happens. But I'm not a big fan of that.
The best thing is that the other summoned saintess isn't an asshole. She's just a kid.
It's pretty bare bones, but I was in the mood for a vampire x hunter story at the time and it fit the bill.
Started off ok..but got silly and boring quick.
The art here is good. I like the friendly banter. But the fl is so fucking stupid in selective ways that it became super irritating. Her choice to go with the plot made not even the slightest bit of sense. And many scenes I stopped to laugh at how ridiculous it was that the author tried to sell this cliche shit.
Promising.
The protag and another girl are summoned through a saintess summoning thingy. The king immediately boots her out because 'her powers are useless' the other girl is assumed the saintess.
Edit: It's looking like the RAW update schedule is pretty bad. So this lost its spot on the Isekai Worth Reading List in case it gets dumped.
FL: Easygoing type
ML: (tbc)
Plot:
I always love seeing dark-skinned characters in manga, and this isn't a particularly bad manga. It feels unfinished and I'm not keen on coercion. But I feel very 'meh' when I read this.
I'm more of a romance person. This doesn't have any romance in it. It's basically three people fucking. I didn't find it wholesome either like others did. They ditched him for 5 years with flimsy excuses, had almost no communication with him outside of fucking, and love is proclaimed for no reason out of nowhere. Like, immediately.
Also wasn't a fan of the art or the personalities of the characters - they felt more like caricatures. So it's a no for me.
