Okaaay… but why I’m liking this side story more than the main story?

Main story pretty much ended already. So to me the side story is a different story just as good, and I'm here for this new story that just so happens to be under the same name as the OG with the same character appearances. It's like a great fanfic that could have been its own story if only the author decided to change character names and appearances
