if i remember it correctly it seems that the part we are in now, with her past only happened after she reunited with tarkan. most is close to the novel, but that part seems different. The time apart/anxiety in tthe novel did not seem that prolonged

also, in the latest chapter, tarkan really said that he's cutting off his memories/feelings with the 'child', there's no such thing as that in the novel (he didn't clarify his feelings between rine and the child(young rine))

that's why I think manhwa is a bit better than novel, + angst are shorter

everything only ends well between them when they finally meet during tarkan's fight with the monster/demon and he realized that the child is rine all along.. that's as I remember the novel tho (just correct me..)
