have you read my omegaverse polemic? I'm not much of a fan of omegaverse in its most popular forms, but it's an intriguing concept in ways that not many authors want to get into because they're avoiding or not considering the implications for society and personal identity. imo, most omegaverse falls flat because even though omegaverse is normal to the setting, things are still largely set up like regular life IRL when it comes to how gender/sex is conceptualized, how transness is often sidelined, whichever way you think about it, and how cultural norms and practices stay the same. it would be less frustrating if a/b/o dynamics were new to the world in those settings, but they're typically not.

Who wanna write a story about the omegaverse society and it's effect of the culture? I always been really interested about how trans people would work in the omegaverse because i doubt a alpha who was born as an omega would be treated well or considered a real alpha
