It actually seems to be the author's odd naming sense! A lot of the characters' names are related to food: Tangerine, Mascarpone, Consomme, and Darjeeling. I saw someone else said that Paply is probably "Papuri" aka paprika in Japanese.
The two ML candidates are location names: Prague and Cyprus.
It's def weird bc I get whiplash every time a new character gets introduced lol
Oh i see. There is some manhwa with weird naming sense too, like the names of cigarette brands, Marlboro or Gharam. As a hard smoker i found it soo funny
