So it was bl, both leads are painters, the Mc since he was a kid he wanted his dad's love and his dad was straight up abusive if he didnt get 1st place in a art contest he'd get beaten up. He met the other Mc while looking at the beautiful painting, they became close. then his dad again threatened to kill his friend/lover if he didnt breakup so Mc says harsh words to his lover and throws him out.
