The people of Arnata aren't meant to be black? I think its clear they're inspired by South Asia. And as for their other characters, not one of them seem to be black, other characters with a tan or just dark skin for whatever reason. I dont really understand what your point is when there aren't black people in their works.

Of course they didn't look black because they are not black, if it might be fictional world but they suppose to be South Asian, just by looking the clothing and their culture they are inspired it was obvious they are Asian.
