nothing burger???

I saw some comments that it's a nothing burger and I heavily disagree, while it's not a masterpiece like someone else said, it definitely is a pretty good read. It reinforces the importance of patience, communication and mutual understanding of each other's perspectives. They were young and immature, when they had a kink in their relationship, they had assumed and did what they did. Now they've grown up and learnt, so they can better themselves and move forward together

I also saw someone getting frustrated at Shinwoo at like chap 45? Because he's not getting over his trauma, like please. Trauma doesn't have a linear lime to recovery, it's in human nature to slip back into old habits. Plus, he's been living in that headspace for at least a decade, it's not easy to rewrite a narrative that's been cemented in his brain for the better part of his life. Give the man some grace and a break, he's been through enough, the most important thing he needs is time to unravel these thoughts and rewrite it

Also, it's definitely the parents' faults. Firstly, understand that they have their own things like dad needing to go work and mum in the hospital, even if they don't trust the aunt and grandma in taking care of the children, they could've at least hired a babysitter or ask a neighbor to look after Shinwoo and his brother. But nah, they left a what, 13 year old who's frontal lobe isn't even fully formed, neglected and forgotten, to take care of his little brother with medical issues alone? Now that's on you, don't blame the little boy for your faults. I get that the mum went through a lot, but it doesn't excuse the fact that she left Shinwoo in his time of need, in his most formative years of his youth, and never reached out for over a decade and ended having her step daughter to clear the air for her. First step is to admit your faults and take responsibility, lady
