While that’s true, that’s not the point I’m trying to make. My point is he is nothing without her because there is nothing about him besides being the crown prince that doesn’t revolve around her. Getting her a pet dog would do the same thing as him, only have more justification why it’s at her house 24/7.
I think in the end, the changes with Mehen and her dad would eventually get her there even if the ML wasn’t as present as he is now.

I love the Arel, Mehen, Dad dynamic but I’m so annoyed at the crown prince. He’s pushy af and doesn’t know boundaries and disregards everyone and everything for her, it’s like he doesn’t have a personality outside of liking her and being a dog. HES THE CROWN PRINCE! Yeah he’s young, but she CANNOT be his everything, he should have a life and responsibilities that are more than a short panel every 10 chapters to signify why he hasn’t appeared for 10 seconds. He can’t even have personality outside of her in his own home - if he’s with the empress he’s talking about her, if he’s with his father it’s for her medicine, if he’s on the training ground it’s to ask for health advice for her, etc. He’s a clingy kid who imprinted on the first thing he saw and throws tantrums when she so much as looks at someone else, just grow up please
