Kim Soleum, the MC, reads horror stories from a creepypasta-type site, gets transportated to Daydream Inc. (a fictional company from the site), and interviewees are getting eliminated through a ghost story (the train) for the final section to getting hired. And since Soleum's whole hobby is reading ghost stories he obviously knows the one they're in.
